Timberland has partnered with Wyclef Jean, Grammy Award-winning musician, humanitarian, and Goodwill Ambassador to Haiti. Wyclef is one of seven Earthkeeper Heroes within the company's Earthkeepers program, which aims to catalyze a global movement of environmental and social activists.
Wyclef and Timberland have a shared commitment to the environment and a passion for improving communities throughout the world. Wyclef founded Yele Haiti in 2005, a foundation to build global awareness for Haiti and help drive transformation through education, sports, the arts and environment.
The partnership involves community service, music, footwear and apparel to inspire consumers to take action in protecting the environment.

Timberland and Wyclef Jean joined forces to design a collection of Timberland Earthkeepers(TM) Yéle Haiti boots for men, women and kids. For every pair of these boots sold, Timberland will donate $2 to the Yéle Haiti foundation to support reforestation in Haiti. The collection of eco-conscious footwear, made from recycled and organic materials, are currently available in the U.S. and will be available globally in February 2010.
