You are a Perfect Packer

You're no doubt a seasoned traveler who has honed the art of perfect packing after years of traveling the globe... or just a natural packing genius. Either way, you have the right combination of strategic planning and selective packing skills. We'd offer you advice, but you should probably tell US how to pack! Why not share your secrets?

You are a Last-Second Underpacker

You prefer spontaneity over careful planning — and your packing style is no exception. You think it's borderline inevitable that you're going to forget to pack something anyway, so why spend time worrying about it? You like to travel light, thereby avoiding airline baggage fees, pulled arm muscles and exhaustion. You've probably headed out the door with a few things left behind that you wish you had packed, but you never let it ruin your trip.

You are a Last-Second Overpacker

Instead of crafting a careful list of must-pack items well before your trip, you tend to wait until the last minute and stuff as much as you can into your suitcase. You rarely forget to pack anything ... but you also frequently pack items that never come out of your suitcase (that expensive sweater you don’t really like? It isn't any more likely to get worn on vacation than it is at home). There's a fine line between being a careful packer and a paranoid one — and you tend to err on the side of caution by packing anything that maybe, just maybe, could come in handy on your trip.

By planning ahead and learning what's a nice-to-pack vs. a need-to-pack, you could save yourself undue last minute stress ... as well as space in your bags.

You are a Systematic Suitcase Stuffer

You're like a bag-packing boy scout: always prepared. You probably write exhaustive lists that include everything that could possibly come in handy on the road, and you tend to add rather than subtract as your departure date nears. You have rarely, if ever, forgotten to pack something important — in fact, your travel companions regularly ask to borrow things that they've forgotten to pack. But you also tend to carry a fat, weighty suitcase (extra checked bag fees, anyone?) when traveling.

Your tendency to plan ahead and overpack probably helps you to avoid surprises, and that's great ... but if you learn to lighten your load a little, you could avoid sore muscles and save money on baggage fees (not to mention saving room for souvenirs).
